Y/D oxford originates in the U.K. Normally, it is woven with combed cotton yarns. In some high-rank fabrics, fine yarns of quality long cotton fibers are adopted for the warp and weft. In recent years, T/C blended yarns are also used in the weave. Normally, fine yarns are used for the warp and relatively coarse yarns for the weft in the weave.
Fabrics of this kind are marked with uniformity in weave, fresh and elegant color tones and offer a soft and smooth hand. They are excellent in permeability.
