Y/D chambray is woven with colored yarns on the warp side and white yarn on the weft. It was first developed at the end of 1950s. From the very beginning, it has been popular for its coarse and country style. As time going, the styles of the fabrics have been changed. They are smooth and well-finished.
As fabrics for shirts, y/d chambray is unique in its performances. Among them, the cotton items are excellent in permeability and hygroscopicity, and after being treated with resin, the fabrics become excellent in resistance to wrinkling.
