Oxford, originally, is a yarn-dyed fabric. In recent years, yarns of synthetic fibers and cotton yarns are adopted in weaving cloths. being dyed, they display the style of the Oxford. Hence, they are called Oxford dyed.
Oxford can be easily washed and quickly dried up, and is excellent in permeability and hygroscopicity and offers a soft hand. Its appearance is similar with that of the yarn-dyed.
In most cases, oxford cloths are woven with T/C yarn and cotton yarn.
