Y/D crepe is a lawn, and includes cotton crepe and T/C crepe, which are woven with highly twisted yarn for the weft and in some appropriate structure arrangement. By finishing the fabric with some special techniques, the highly twisted yarn is restored and gains special shrink force, forming irregular stripe-like wrinkles. The wrinkles offer a stronger relief perception comparing with silk, and the cloths offer a soft hand and excellent in permeability.
Y/D crepe is mainly used for making lady’s dresses and children’s wear in spring, summer and autumn.
